OWNER & LEAD STYLIST
JADE BROWN
Born and raised in Manitoba, Jade moved to the Yukon over 10 years ago in search of a new adventure and quickly fell in love with the North.
After spending years working in local salons and honing her craft, Jade always had her sights set on a bigger goal: creating a salon of her own. Through hard work, dedication, and a genuine passion for helping people feel their best, that dream eventually became a reality.
Today, Jade is proud to be the owner of Bamboo Blonde and is grateful to lead a team of talented, supportive, and inspiring women. Her vision has always been to create more than just a salon..a welcoming space where clients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
When she's not behind the chair or working on the business, you'll likely find her with her horses, playing ball, or just enjoying everything the Yukon has to offer and continuing to dream up new ways to make Bamboo Blonde even better for both her clients and her team.

ALI NORDAHL
Born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon, Ali is a Certified Freelance Makeup Artist. Having attained her Global Makeup Diploma from Blanche MacDonald Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia, she honed her skills freelancing in Vancouver and Whitehorse, and working for Charlotte Tilbury.
Ali’s signature style of makeup is soft glam: light and glowy, with a true-to-you feel. Ali’s full bridal service aims to have you feeling pampered and prepared to take on your big day!
With accreditations from publications like Allure magazine, the Daily Mail, Good Living by ASDA, Wannabe magazine and Self.com, Ali now offers professional makeup services throughout the North, offering services from bridal, to glamour to special effects and more! Additional services include strip lash applications and 1:1 or group makeup lessons.

Taylor is a new spray tan artist in the Yukon & the
face behind Honey Glow Spray Tans!
She is born & raised in the Yukon, is the mama to two busy little boys, and has a passion for health & wellness. With over 10 years in customer service & 7 years (+ counting!) as a nurse, her goal is to create a comfortable, relaxing experience for all bodies to feel comfortable in their skin.

Born and raised in the Yukon, Kaci has been behind the chair for 16 years and is proud to have built her career right here at home.
For Kaci, doing hair is about so much more than the finished look. She loves connecting with her clients, creating a comfortable and welcoming experience, and helping each person leave her chair feeling confident and beautiful.
With 16 years of experience in the industry, Kaci brings knowledge, creativity, and a genuine love for her craft to every appointment. Whether you’re looking for a fresh colour, a new cut, or simply a little refresh, her goal is to create hair that feels beautiful, wearable, and completely you.
Kaci is excited to be part of the Bamboo Blonde team and looks forward to welcoming both longtime and new clients into her chair.

KATIE NATTRESS
Katie discovered her passion for the hair industry during her first hairstyling course in high school. Since then, she has enjoyed learning the ins and outs of salon life and helping create a welcoming experience for every client who walks through the door.
She keeps the salon running smoothly by welcoming guests, assisting with appointments, supporting the stylists, and helping with shampooing and blow-dries when needed.
